This blog is dedicated to the celebration of the liberal society in the digital age, and to the hearty mocking of those who would sacrifice it at the altar of  dogmatism.

I’ve always been a writer at heart. Since around age 10, when I stole my mom’s dog-eared copy of Strunk & White, I’ve been in love with the poetry of language.  Hence, this blog.

I’ve been writing on the internet on and off since 2004 on such venues as The Zero Boss, Parents Behaving Badly (now Bad Breeders), Blogging Baby (subsequently ParentDish), and Strollerderby.

When I’m not writing or wasting time on Facebook, I’m spending time with my kids, biking, running, reading, and enjoying life in and around Seattle.
